1 Kings 5:9
My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
The verse records Hiram's agreement to supply timber for building the Temple, the house dedicated to the name of the Lord. Hiram promised to fulfill all of Solomon's desire concerning timber of cedar and timber of fir. Preparing and moving that cedar involved hewing the wood and hauling it for transport to the construction site. His servants would bring the timber down from Lebanon to the sea and convey it by sea in floats to the place Solomon would appoint, where it would be discharged and received by Solomon. In return, Solomon would accomplish Hiram's desire by giving food for his household.
