1 Kings 6:25

And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.

The two cherubim in the inner sanctuary were identical in measure and size, each standing ten cubits high. They were larger than the cherubim upon the ark and stood at either end of it. They represent heavenly angels who continually guard God's law. The temple followed the proportions of the tabernacle and was furnished in the same way.

The verse reflects faithful carrying out of God's directions for constructing the temple. That temple was the most magnificent building the world ever saw, which could not be excelled for richness, beauty, and costly design. The work was done with devotion to God, uprightness, firm principle, and strict obedience to God's commands, and with the greatest wisdom in directing every important enterprise and managing the business matters of the kingdom. This came from the understanding heart and wisdom God gave above earthly riches, honor, or long life.

For this faithfulness God greatly blessed and honored Solomon, and his fame spread among the nations everywhere. All nations acknowledged and marveled at his superior knowledge, wisdom, excellence of character, and greatness of power. Many came from all parts of the world to behold his power and to be instructed how to conduct difficult matters.
