And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit. The furnishings described were made for Solomon's temple as part of its ordered equipment. Beneath each bordered panel were set four wheels to make the stand movable. The axles of those wheels were fastened directly to the base so that wheel and frame formed one connected structure. Each wheel stood one and one-half cubits in height, giving a uniform measure for all of them.
