1 Kings 7:45
And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass. And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
The pots and the shovels and the basins, together with all the rest of the vessels fashioned for Solomon for the house of the Lord, were made of bright, polished brass. They were the furnishings of the court, the implements appointed for carrying on the service of the temple. The metal for them was cast in the plain, where the work was done on a vast scale. So great was the abundance of the brass cast for these court vessels that its quantity marked the completeness of the provision for the temple service.
