1 Kings 9:11
( Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. ( Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
Solomon contracted with Hiram the king of Tyre for cedar trees and fir trees that were used in building the sanctuary for God. After Hiram had supplied Solomon with building materials and gold, Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. That transfer of the twenty cities did not dislodge Galilee's ancient inhabitants, who still clung to the land.
