1 Samuel 22:8
That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
Saul treats David's escape as proof that all around him have conspired against him. He accuses his servants of concealing from him that his son has made a league with the son of Jesse. He further charges that none of them is sorry for him or shows him that his son has stirred up his servant against him to lie in wait, as at that day.
The league with the son of Jesse is the covenant Jonathan and David made to be united as brethren after David slew Goliath. This was when Saul kept David with him and would not let him return to his father's house. Jonathan's soul was knit with David's soul, and he loved David as his own soul. He stripped himself of the robe upon him and gave it to David, with his garments, even to his sword and to his bow and to his girdle.
Saul speaks out of fear and anger and offers rewards for information about David. Doeg's report about David's visit to Ahimelech fuels Saul's rage. That rage leads to the slaughter of the priests and people of Nob.
