1 Samuel 23:5
So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah. So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
David and his men went to Keilah and fought the Philistines there, defeating them decisively and saving the town's inhabitants from capture. In that victory they brought away the Philistines' cattle. Even after delivering the town, David and his men were not safe in Keilah and had to leave. Those they had saved could not protect them while Saul was hunting David.
