1 Samuel 30:19
And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.
At Ziklag David recovered everything the Amalekites had carried away, leaving nothing still lacking to him and his men. No person was missing, whether small or great, whether sons or daughters, and no possession was missing, whether spoil or anything else that had been taken. The return of the captives together with the goods made the recovery complete in both people and property. This completeness fulfilled God's promise to David that he would overtake the raiders and recover all.
