Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel. After receiving wisdom from God at the high place in Gibeon, Solomon returned from his journey there to Jerusalem. That high place was where the tabernacle of the congregation stood, which he left behind to take up his reign over Israel. Once in Jerusalem he stood before the ark of the covenant and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. He then held a feast for his servants.
