2 Chronicles 1:17

And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means.

The verse belongs to the account of Solomon's wealth, showing horses brought from Egypt and then sold onward through his trading network to the kings of the Hittites and to the kings of Syria. Chariots and horses were fetched up out of Egypt and afterward brought out by that means for all those northern kings. It is one of the Bible's references to the Hittite people, recording Solomon's importing of horses in connection with the Hittites.

That historical detail about the Hittites has been confirmed by later discoveries establishing the Hittites as a real and important ancient nation.
