2 Chronicles 13:22

And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the story of the prophet Iddo.

The chapter around the verse sets forth Abijah's reign and his war with Jeroboam, in which Israel was defeated. The account in Chronicles gives a fuller treatment of his reign than the brief notice of him found elsewhere. The rest of his acts, his ways and conduct, and his sayings were written in the story or account of the prophet Iddo.

Iddo had also written accounts of Solomon and Rehoboam. His history of Abijah formed another volume of sacred history. That prophets thus preserved accounts of kings shows they did not only deliver predictions or messages.
