2 Chronicles 14:13
And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.
Before the pursuit, Asa trusted God and prayed for help against the Ethiopian army. Asa and the people that were with him, Judah, then pursued the fleeing enemy as far as Gerar. The Ethiopians were overthrown and destroyed before the Lord and before His host. The defeat was decisive, so that they could not recover themselves. The victory yielded very much spoil, which Asa's forces carried away.
