Asa commanded Judah to seek the Lord God of their fathers and to do the law and the commandment. His command was part of a reform that removed idolatrous worship and turned the people away from false worship and idolatry back to God. In that return, seeking God was joined with obeying His requirements and keeping His instruction. Under that course Judah had peace during his reign.
