2 Chronicles 15:13
That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
The stipulation belonged to the covenant Judah made under Asa when the nation gathered to renew worship following his reform. In that covenant all were bound to seek the Lord God of Israel with whole heart and soul, making their commitment binding and all-encompassing. Whoever refused to seek Him was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman, with no distinction of rank, age, or sex.
They swore that oath with their whole heart. That wholehearted oath was met with rejoicing and with their finding God. Then rest came throughout the land on every side.
