2 Chronicles 16:6
Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah. Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
This verse belongs to the account of Baasha of Israel seizing Ramah, a fortified city near Jerusalem. When Israel seized Ramah, Asa answered by making an alliance with Benhadad, king of Syria. That resort to a foreign alliance instead of relying on God for deliverance was a failure to trust God in a time of need. The episode provided the occasion for Hanani's rebuke of Asa.
