2 Chronicles 17:16

And next him was Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto the LORD; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valour.

Amasiah the son of Zichri willingly offered himself to the Lord and led one division of Jehoshaphat's army, comprising two hundred thousand mighty men of valour. His force was counted among the men of war who waited on the king, distinct from those stationed in the fenced cities throughout all Judah. It belonged with the castles and store cities built in Judah to Jehoshaphat's exceedingly great military strength.

This strength belonged to many years when Jehoshaphat lived in peace unmolested by surrounding nations, because the fear of the Lord fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands around Judah. In that time he received tribute money and presents from Philistia and large flocks of sheep and goats from Arabia. He was blessed abundantly with riches and honor that enabled him to wield a mighty influence for truth and righteousness.
