2 Chronicles 18:10
And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.
Zedekiah was one of the false prophets gathered around Ahab. He had made horns of iron and held them up as a sign that Ahab would defeat Syria, pushing the Syrians until they were consumed. He delivered this as a message from the Lord, saying Thus saith the Lord, yet that claim of divine authority was false. His confident promise of victory stood in direct opposition to Micaiah's warning that Israel would be scattered. Despite that warning, the kings disregarded Micaiah and refused to heed him.
