2 Chronicles 18:12
And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good. And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
The messenger sent to fetch Micaiah urged him to join the other prophets, who with one assent were foretelling success for the king, and to speak a likewise favorable word to please him. Against that united promise of good, Micaiah delivered a warning received from God. Both kings disregarded that warning, and its truth was proved when Ahab was killed in the battle that followed.
