Micaiah Stands Before Ahab and Jehoshaphatby emmanuel_higgins

2 Chronicles 18:9

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

Ahab king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were seated each on his own throne, dressed in royal robes, in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria. All the prophets were prophesying before the two enthroned kings in that setting. Their confident counsel urging the kings to go to battle was false. Micaiah's warning from the Lord exposed the error and showed that agreement among prophets does not make their message true.
