2 Chronicles 19:4

And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

The verse belongs to the later years of Jehoshaphat's reign, when his work was largely devoted to carrying further reform throughout Judah. That same closing labor was spent in strengthening the national and spiritual defenses of Judah. While dwelling at Jerusalem, the king went out again in person through the people throughout Judah to bring them back to the Lord God of their fathers. His circuit extended from Beer-sheba in the south to Mount Ephraim in the north. Such reforming work is an example of the righteousness that exalts a nation.
