2 Chronicles 20:24
And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
When Judah came toward the watchtower in the wilderness and looked toward the invading multitude, they saw dead bodies fallen to the ground with none escaping. The Ammonites and Moabites had turned against the people of Mount Seir and destroyed them, and then had destroyed one another. The Lord thus delivered Judah without its army having to fight or defeat the multitude in battle. The victory seen in the verse had been promised beforehand. On the fourth day Judah's army returned to Jerusalem carrying the enemies' spoil and praising God for the victory.
