2 Chronicles 20:26

And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.

On the fourth day after the battle the army of Jehoshaphat and Judah gathered in the valley to bless the Lord for the victory He had given them, and from that act of thanksgiving the place was called the Valley of Berachah, meaning blessing, unto this day. The gathering followed the taking of the spoil, so that triumph and plunder were succeeded by deliberate and continued thanksgiving rather than mere celebration of gain. From that valley the host returned to Jerusalem with praise, carrying the spirit of gratitude from the battlefield into the capital.
