2 Chronicles 29:11

My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

The words are Hezekiah's direct charge to the priests and to the Levites, calling them to unite with him in carrying out the necessary reforms. He bids them to be no longer negligent in their work, but to join promptly with him in restoring the worship of the temple. The ground of the appeal is that the Lord Himself had chosen them for sacred service, to stand before Him and to serve in His presence. That chosen service is to stand before God, to serve Him, to minister unto Him, and to burn incense.
