2 Chronicles 31:21
And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
Hezekiah's work extended throughout all Judah as doing what was good and right and true before his God to build up the spiritual and temporal interests of the kingdom. In every work that he began in the service of the house of God and in the law and in the commandments to seek his God, he acted with complete devotion and with all his heart. Because of that wholeheartedness he prospered and had success. That wholeheartedness went together with trusting the Lord God of Israel, not departing from following Him, keeping the commandments given through Moses, and having the Lord with him.
His wholehearted effort stands as an example calling for earnest purpose in labor. It calls for giving careful attention to the work at hand. That carefulness includes humble duties within one's reach.
