2 Chronicles 34:22
And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
This moment belongs to Josiah's reign after the book of the law was found and read, when the king sent to inquire of the Lord for himself and for his people because they had departed from God's statutes. The reference to dwelling in the college identifies a school in Jerusalem where workers were trained, also called a School of the Prophets.
In this setting the reading of the law exposed the people's sin and their departure from God. Josiah responded with humility and a deep work of repentance and return to the Lord. He made a covenant to obey God wholeheartedly.
His example calls people today to repent and reform as God's commandments are made known. That reform is to be without compromising with evil.
