2 Chronicles 35:17
And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days. And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
The Israelites who were present in Josiah's time kept the Passover at that time and the feast of unleavened bread seven days. Josiah's reign was the last Jerusalem reign in which the king obeyed the Lord's commandments. That reign ended in 607 BC, after which the people no longer kept the release years or jubilees.
The Passover kept under Josiah brought a greater revival of hope than the Passover held by Hezekiah. That Passover was followed by Israel's deeper apostasy into idolatry and sin. It was a time when God blessed His people, recalled when a later gathering shows the same modesty, respect, and worship.
