2 Chronicles 4:16

The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.

2 Chronicles 4:16 belongs to the account of Solomon's temple, its building, furnishings, sacred vessels and utensils, and services, which stands as part of a six-chapter description of the temple's building and worship. In narrative order it comes after David's purpose to build a house of God, his gathering of material for it, and Solomon's call to the kingdom and the perplexities of establishing his reign, and it leads forward to the solemn dedication of the temple.

Huram his father made its implements of bright brass — the pots and the shovels and the fleshhooks and all their instruments — for King Solomon for the house of the Lord, and the temple was built according to a divinely given pattern. The temple was built on the same general plan as the tabernacle and shared its ministry, with implements of the same kind. It was on a larger and grander scale as a permanent building in place of a temporary one, with its sacred vessels increased in size and number.

Like the tabernacle, Solomon's temple had two holy places, and its two holy places with their furnishings formed a pattern of the heavenly temple.
