2 Chronicles 4:19
And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set; And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
Solomon made all the vessels that belonged to the house of God, including the golden altar and the tables on which the showbread was set. These furnishings were made according to the pattern that David had given to Solomon. Those prepared for the holy place were made of pure gold. The equipment of the temple was supplied in abundance. The richness of these furnishings gave the temple a beauty and splendor that made it a fit emblem of God's living church on earth, built up through the ages according to the divine pattern.
