The flowers, lamps, and tongs belong to the account of the holy-place furnishings for the temple. Those furnishings were made with gold in abundance. They were made according to the pattern provided for the temple.
The flowers, lamps, and tongs themselves were made of pure gold. That gold was of the highest purity. These gold furnishings formed part of the beauty and splendor of the temple. That beauty and splendor is an emblem of God's living church, built according to the divine pattern.
