2 Chronicles 4:9

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

Furthermore he made the court of the priests and the great court with doors for the court overlaid with brass as part of the building of Solomon's temple. The priests' court and the great court with their brass-overlaid doors belonged to that temple structure and its courts. This building work belongs to the account of the temple's building and furnishings during the undivided kingdom under Solomon.

Solomon's temple was built on the same two-part plan as the tabernacle and had two holy places. It enlarged the tabernacle's plan and stood as a permanent, more magnificent sanctuary. With its two holy places, sacred vessels, ministry, and arrangement it was a pattern of the heavenly sanctuary or temple.

The account in the chapter shows that Hiram completed the work for which Solomon employed him. It gives no support for the claim that he was murdered by fellow craftsmen and buried beneath the Most Holy Place. It provides no information about where or when he died.
