2 Chronicles 9:1
And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
The queen had heard of Solomon's wisdom and of the magnificent temple he had built. She came to Jerusalem to prove him with hard, difficult questions. She also wanted to see his famous works for herself.
She made the long journey with a large entourage and camels loaded with spices, abundant gold and precious stones. When she arrived she spoke openly with Solomon about everything on her mind, including the mysteries of nature. Solomon answered every question she asked, withholding nothing from her. In answering he taught her about God as the God of nature, the great Creator who dwells in the highest heaven and rules over all.
