2 Corinthians 13:4

For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

Though He was crucified through weakness, He lives by the power of God. Those who are weak in Him shall live with Him by the power of God toward the church. This gives proof that Christ speaking in His ministers is not weak but mighty in the church. God's strength is made perfect in human weakness, so His grace is sufficient and the power of Christ rests upon the afflicted. Dangers, infirmities, reproaches, necessities, persecutions, and distresses for Christ's sake cannot separate the weak from the love of Christ, because they live with Christ by God's power.

Ministers are to be so related to God that they exalt the truth, triumph with the truth, and make a success in their work by using their entrusted talents in God's appointed work. They are to sow no doubt or unbelief and to shake no one's faith in the testimonies, but to examine the past experience of doubters to see whether it made men purer, holier, and stronger in truth and devotion. They are to do only what is honest and to do no evil, having Christ in them and not being reprobates, and to elevate the standard rather than bring it down by bringing gold, silver, and precious stones that will stand the test of the judgment fire. They are to serve Jehovah and not Baal, to put on every piece of the armor, and to work in harmony with brethren in the Spirit of Christ to advance God's work. They are to go forth weeping bearing precious seed and to return with rejoicing bringing sheaves, being able to do nothing against the truth but for the truth.
