2 Kings 10:6

Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.

The verse stands in Jehu's destruction of the house of Ahab after he was commissioned to avenge the blood of the Lord's servants and to bring Ahab's house to an end. It is his second letter, in which he commands the great men of the city who had brought up the seventy sons of their master to kill them and to come to him at Jezreel by tomorrow about this time with their heads. The execution so ordered carries out that divine commission against the house of Ahab. His course here warns against letting self rise up and pouring out harsh, unbefitting words.
