2 Kings 15:24
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
Pekahiah did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. His course continued the northern kingdom's established pattern of evil, as also seen in Menahem. His successor Pekah likewise did evil. During Pekah's reign Assyria carried many Israelites into captivity. From this blow the northern kingdom never recovered.
