2 Kings 19:20
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard. Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
God heard Hezekiah's prayer made against Sennacherib king of Assyria. In answer God sent Isaiah the son of Amoz to Hezekiah with the declaration that the prayer had been heard. That assurance meant the Assyrian threat had come before God and that Judah was not left without hope. The declaration opens God's answering message, which pronounces judgment upon Sennacherib and gives reassurance to Jerusalem.
