2 Kings 19:7
Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
The message came as God's answer through Isaiah to the prayers of Hezekiah and Isaiah after the blasphemous challenge brought by Rabshakeh and the servants of the king of Assyria. It was spoken directly to Hezekiah, telling him not to be afraid of the words with which those servants had blasphemed God. That assurance meant the threats uttered against God and against Jerusalem would not prevail.
Deliverance would come by God's own intervention against the Assyrian king, sending a blast upon him to drive him away from Jerusalem. Under that working the king would hear a rumor or report that would turn him back and cause him to return to his own land. There, in his own land, God would cause him to fall and die by the sword.
