2 Kings 21:11

Manasseh king of Judah committed abominations and acted wickedly above all that the Amorites who were before him had done. By his idols he also made Judah to sin with him in idolatry. His evil course brought the kingdom to the verge of crisis, with captivity in Babylon impending. In that condition the people were in danger of becoming prey to their enemies.
