2 Kings 3:25
And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kir-haraseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
2 Kings 3 as a whole is a chapter presenting tests of faith. For teachers of truth it represents the testing and temptation they will face when faith and patience are severely tried by apparent impossibilities blocking the way. Victory over the enemy does not come through human strength but through trusting in what God can do and relying on His power. He uses that power to turn the battle against the enemy for the glory of His name.
God has ways and means for every emergency and works in ways least expected. Because His power is from of old and His ways are past finding out, He must not be limited, and no clear lines can be laid out beforehand for how He will work nor ways marked out whereby He will work. Those who believe must go forward with the grace of Christ despite obstacles.
