2 Kings 4:13

And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

Elisha acknowledged the generous and careful provision the Shunammite woman had made for him and his companion. In recognition of all that care he offered to speak on her behalf to the king or to the commander of the army. She answered that she dwelt among her own people. That meant she lived securely and contentedly in her own community and sought no favor or protection from those authorities.
