Elisha Tells the Widow to Gather Empty VesselsBible World
4:32 Kings 4:3
Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
Elisha directed the widow to go out and borrow empty vessels from all those living around her. He expressly told her to gather a large number, not restricting herself to only a few. The vessels thus obtained were to furnish the containers into which her oil would be multiplied.
