2 Kings 5:18

In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

The plea belongs to the time after Benhadad king of Syria defeated Israel in the battle in which Ahab died, when Syria kept up constant border warfare against Israel. It concerns Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, a great and honorable mighty man in valor who was a leper. It follows a Syrian raid that carried away a little maid to wait on Naaman's wife, who as one of God's witnesses fulfilling the purpose for which Israel was chosen told her mistress that Elisha the prophet in Samaria could recover Naaman of his leprosy by the power of Heaven.

Naaman has committed himself to worshiping the Lord alone. In the verse he asks the Lord to pardon him for bowing in the house of Rimmon when he accompanies his master, who leans on his hand, because he expects this duty to place him in the posture of worship there. Elisha sends him away in peace in response to this request.
