2 Kings 6:10

And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.

Elisha, the man of God, warned the king of Israel about the places where the Syrian forces were camped and planned to attack. God revealed the enemy's plans to Elisha and used that revelation through the warning to save the king. The king acted on the warning by sending men to the place named and keeping away from the danger there, doing so repeatedly, not just once or twice, and thereby saved himself from attack. By heeding the warnings he also saved his people from attack, which kept Israel free from Syrian attacks for a time. The revelation showed Elisha to be God's servant, and God delivered him when the Syrian king sent an armed force to seize him.
