2 Kings 9:15
But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.
Jehoram king of Israel lay at Jezreel recovering from the wounds inflicted on him in his war against Hazael king of Syria. He had withdrawn there to be healed after the fighting, leaving the front while his recovery continued in the city. In that moment Jehu, newly proclaimed king, moved to keep the development secret from Jezreel. He therefore commanded that no one be permitted to go out or escape from the city to carry the tidings to Jezreel.
