2 Kings 9:30
And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.
When Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel was there and was put to death by him as part of the destruction recorded in 2 Kings 9:30-37. Her death was a judgment upon the house of Ahab. That judgment avenged the blood of the Lord's servants and prophets. Her removal was a compassionate act of God to take away the influence of Baal worship and to turn some in Israel from heathenism back to Himself.
