2 Samuel 2:6
And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing. And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
David sent this word as a message to the men of Jabesh-gilead after they had honorably buried Saul. In it he asked the Lord to show kindness and faithfulness to them because of that burial. He joined to that prayer his own promise to repay them for the kindness they had shown.
