2 Samuel 9:2
And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he. And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.
Ziba was a servant belonging to the house of Saul, whom David summoned to come to himself. When he was called before David, the king asked him whether he was Ziba. He answered that he was the king's servant. This meeting took place as David sought to keep his covenant with Jonathan by showing kindness to Jonathan's family. Through Ziba David learned about Jonathan's son Mephibosheth, whom he then summoned, restored Saul's possessions to support his household, and welcomed as a continual guest at the royal table.
