Acts 13:31

And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

The verse belongs to Paul's Sabbath sermon in the synagogue at Antioch in Pisidia, spoken after the reading of the law and the prophets at the invitation of the rulers of the synagogue. In that sermon Paul traced God's dealings with Israel from deliverance from Egyptian bondage, announced a promised Saviour of the seed of David, and preached Jesus as the Saviour of men and the promised Messiah of prophecy.

After God raised Jesus from the dead, He was seen alive for many days by those who had come up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem. Those companions who saw Him are His eyewitnesses who testify about the risen Jesus to the people. Beyond its place in that account of God's dealings with Israel and the preaching of Jesus as Messiah and Saviour, the detail about those who saw Him is left without further explanation.
