Acts 14:24

And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.

The passing through Pisidia to Pamphylia was part of a continual onward advance by Paul and Barnabas without set boundaries. They visited every place where entrance could be gained throughout a large territory. In that advance they succeeded in winning souls to Jesus Christ.

After that large territory had been worked they revisited the churches they had planted, and then returned to Antioch from which they had been set apart and sent out by prayer and counsel. In that revisiting they confirmed the souls of the disciples and exhorted them to continue in the faith, teaching that through much tribulation they must enter the kingdom of God. This enlarging of the circle of influence, educating workers for further conquests for Christ and moving on so that truth may extend to all parts of the globe, is the way the work is to be carried on now. These experiences of advance and soul-winning and revisiting are of great value to the churches.
