Amos 5:18

Amos 5:18 is part of a prophecy that portrays the condition of the world in the period immediately preceding the second coming. That coming is near when the words of woe are applicable, for they address a generation in which lawlessness has become widespread. The abounding iniquity of that time comes from transgression of God's law, by which men break the everlasting covenant that was granted on the condition of obedience.
