Colossians 4:9
With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here. With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
Colossians 4:7-14 is a list identifying Paul's companions and coworkers who assisted him in Rome. Onesimus named in verse 9 was formerly a pagan slave who had wronged Philemon and fled from him to Rome. There he was converted through Paul's work.
The verse therefore presents him as a converted Christian brother from Colossae, described as faithful and beloved. With Tychicus he returned to Philemon to face his former master, seek forgiveness and make things right, accepting this duty as the fruit of his conversion. On that return with Tychicus they also carried the church letters with them.
